Dahnil Anzar Canceled For Checking Due to Binding of the Case of the Youth Camp Fund
pojok id. Jakarta, Former Muhammadiyah Youth Chairperson of Muhammadiyah Dahnil Anzar Simanjuntak was canceled due to the alleged corruption case of the Islamic Youth Camp Fund, Friday (12/14).
Muhammadiyah Youth Legal Counsel, Trisno Raharjo, stated that the Metro Jaya Regional Police investigator rescheduled the investigation.
"It's true that today there is such an agenda based on the letter sent by the investigator. But, because there was a delay in investigation, today's agenda was rescheduled," Trisno said when confirmed.
Trisno said Dahnil was ready to be questioned and gave information about the alleged corruption of youth camp funds.
"If mas Dahnil is ready at any time," he said.
Based on the summons issued by the police, Dahnil was questioned on Friday (12/14). Dahnil, had previously been examined for the same case.
In the last inspection the police called Dahnil's signature in the report on the accountability of camps falsified using the PJ scan.
Trisno said, Dahnil did not know that his signature was falsified. The plan for the next examination Dahnil will explain the matter of forgery of the signature.
"True, Dahnil did not know and the signature was scanned. So it will be reaffirmed in the examination to the investigator," Trisno said.
In this case, the police claimed to have received a report about alleged corruption at the Islamic Youth Camp. There were two mass organizations that received funding from Kemenpora to carry out the activity.
The two organizations are the Muhammadiyah Youth and the Ansor Youth Movement with a total of IDR 5 billion.
However, the police found no indication of irregularities in the Ansor GP accountability report. While in the Muhammadiyah Youth accountability report it is suspected that there is a fictitious use of funds.
